We dipped our toes into Saudi and came back with twelve work streams and a brief to create three very different hotel brands. I was lucky enough to be a part of the hotel focused on locals whom were on their deeply meaningful pilgrimage to Makkah, a place of peace.

CHALLENGEThe journey ones goes on when making Hajj should be seamless and as stress-free as possible. But that is just not the case. Our task was to create a space for locals to take comfort during their pilgrimage.
SOLUTIONA distinctly calm identity meant stripping back everything. Lots and lots (and I mean lots) of space was incorporated to remove any elements that would cause clutter.
Inspired by Picasso’s bull, the illustrations reflect both the landscape and hospitality in its simplest form.
A restful brown and beige palette draws directly from the landscape, paving the way for tranquility. Every element was designed to feel intentional, calm and supportive, offering a visual sanctuary for those on their journey.
IMPACTThe result is a brand that prioritises peace over performance. One that creates emotional ease at a moment when it matters most. This is what you get when you leave it all behind.
